The Jewish People are first and foremost a family. Daily life, ritual, and the passing on of our traditions all have family at their core. It is through the Jewish family that our survival rests, both as a unique people and as a tradition. It is through the lens of family that we view the past, live the present and have hope for the future.
And because of you, despite the challenges of COVID-19, we are preserving our history for future generations. Some of you volunteer for JewishGen, creating databases, indexing data, or helping with technical support. Others don't volunteer, but you help us by financially supporting our important work. No matter your role, each of you adds to the certainty that what we had will not be lost.
So, although you are not my genetic family, you are certainly my family.
And as a member of the family, I humbly ask that you consider donating to JewishGen. Whether it be a gift as modest as $5, or something larger, your financial involvement with JewishGen will help us continue our important work.
Credit Card contributions can be submitted on our secure website by clicking here. ***If now is not a good time, and you would like us to remind you again tomorrow, please click here.***
To donate by check, please make it payable to JewishGen and send it to: JewishGen/Fall Appeal 36 Battery Place New York, NY 10280 USA
As you know, we have only 1 full time staff member, meaning that our organization is almost exclusively run by volunteers. Please help us ensure that our past will never be forgotten.
With warm wishes,
